Carved Empire dresser
Working on an Empire dresser that is missing one of the carvings.
Work notes:
- Cut a piece of wood with the appropiate measurements and mark the original carving.
- Trim the wood
- Turn it (so we get the opposite side) and carve it
- Sand the surface properly
- Apply Gilder’s clay bowl
- Gild and polychrome
